THE CHALLENGE

When Kids With Food Allergies (KFA) merged with the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, KFA needed to refresh its logo to reflect the merger. They initially reworked the logo themselves, but were unhappy with the result. KFA’s marketing communications were also inconsistent. They needed to establish professional templates for their Facebook posts, email communications and flyers.

The Solution

We updated the KFA logo to represent both organizations, while making the text more readable and striking a more appropriate balance between the relative size of each organization’s name. We also created a secondary brand element (a swoosh) and established a standard color palette. We then designed a Facebook template, an email template and a flyer, and we applied the new branding to each. Now all of KFA’s materials have a common, recognizable look. KFA is also able to update the templates themselves, which is both efficient and cost-effective.
